kitotech / painpause: building a content strategy an untrained team could run
PainPause, a medical device and consumer health brand, had real content on hand — a founder with a genuine medical background and a compelling personal story, existing video and photo assets, and an engaged niche audience — but no strategy turning any of it into a system. The team didn't know which platforms mattered for a 55+ chronic-pain audience, had no consistent brand image, no compliance-safe way to talk about a medical product on Meta platforms, and no repeatable content pipeline. Skaal's Marketologist started with an audit, not a plan: reviewing every existing video, photo, and prior post before recommending anything. That audit led to a deliberate platform call — Facebook and Instagram as the primary channels, YouTube as a slow-build long-term asset. On brand image, two concepts were tested head to head rather than picked from a boardroom, landing on a blended direction weighted toward the more trusted option. Compliance constraints on medical-product claims were built directly into the content guidance. The strategy scaled to a 100-topic content library across three video formats, paired with testimonial guidelines, and deployed through Cadence, Skaal's own content-pipeline platform — with the client's own team filming, scripting, and posting throughout. PainPause moved from scattered, undirected content to a documented, sustainable system: a tested brand direction, a 100-topic library, and a compliance-aware posting rhythm the client's own team can run without a strategist standing over their shoulder. Organic content began ahead of the site relaunch by design, so paid spend only starts once the organic content has already proven what resonates.
